Our optic cuts include Full-Length Recoil Lugs to secure the optic as designed for better optic life and performance.
All of our cuts for the Shadow 2 use full lugs to provide the best optic interface for competitive high-round count use.
The SRO "Step Cut" is compatible with the Holosun 507 Comp; however, the deck in front of the optic is cut down to accommodate the SRO overhang, and not the cleanest look for the Holosun 507 Comp. If you cut for Holosun 507 Comp and later want to cut for the SRO, we can cut the deck down as a service.
For the Cleanest look, select the "NO STEP CUT: option for your Holosun C/Comp Optic or RMR Type 2, but it will not be compatible with the SRO (You can always add step cut later, but you can't take it away:)
This product includes the Optic Cut only for your slide (no optic or slide is included in this purchase). We provide a black oxide tool finish on the cut area.
McMaster Carr 6/32 1/2" long screws for the Trijicon are provided.
Holosun XControls Metric Taper 6-32 .430" long screws for the Holosun are also provided.
For the Vortex Defender/XL Optics, you will use the Glock MOS M4 screws provided with the Vortex. If we are mounting this optic, we will need the screws supplied with the optic.
If your gun has a pinned barrel bushing, we can replace the front sight with a new Front Sight Blank if you select that option.
If your gun is an Orange model with an AccuBushing. We can remove the front sight and return it with your rear sight if you request it in the checkout comments. The Front Sight Blank is not an available option for these models without a pinned bushing.
You can send in your small parts with the slide minus the barrel and recoil assembly. We will return your irons to you with the slide.
You can provide your own optic, and we are more than happy to install it for you using Permatex Orange and torqued to spec. Your optic is not required as we cut the slide to fit the optic by the lugs.
You are responsible for shipping the slide to us after placing the order. Please include your order number on the package, securely pack and ship the slide (flat-rate USPS is a great option), and send it via USPS.
