This page explains Stonebridge Gunworks’ California AB1263 compliance policy for California customers sending previously owned slides to us for optic cuts, slide milling, or related milling services.
What This Applies To
California AB1263 compliance applies to California customers who send a previously owned pistol slide to Stonebridge Gunworks for optic cuts, slide milling, or related milling services, and need that slide returned to a California address.
For these slide milling orders, the required Adobe agreement must be completed and the required California compliance upcharge must be selected at checkout before we can return ship the slide.
What This Does Not Apply To
This California AB1263 compliance process does not apply to SBGW Target Focus Trainers, range equipment, training tools, optic tools, or non-firearm range accessories sold by Stonebridge Gunworks.
Examples of products that are not covered by this slide-return compliance process include:
- SBGW Target Focus Trainers
- SRO battery tools
- Range gear
- Training accessories
- Non-firearm optic tools and support equipment
California Gun Parts Policy
Stonebridge Gunworks does not ship magazine extensions or firearm parts to California customers.
The only California firearm-part return shipments we currently allow are previously owned customer slides that were sent to us for approved optic cuts, slide milling, or related milling services.
Those slide returns require the completed Adobe compliance agreement, ID verification, and delivery to the address listed on the customer’s ID, as required under the applicable California compliance process.
Required for California Slide Milling Orders
If you are a California customer sending a slide to Stonebridge Gunworks for milling, you must complete all of the following before we can return ship the slide:
- Complete the required Adobe compliance agreement.
- Upload or provide the required ID verification through the agreement process.
- Make sure the return shipping address matches the address on the ID.
- Select the required California compliance upcharge at checkout.
- Select an eligible return shipping method with adult signature when required.
Failure to complete the form, provide matching ID/address information, or select the required checkout option may delay return shipping or result in cancellation of the return shipment.

Return Shipping Address Requirement
For California slide milling orders, we can only return ship the slide to the address shown on the ID used with the completed Adobe agreement.
The shipping address on the order must match the address on the ID. If the addresses do not match, we may need corrected information before return shipment can be completed.
