What This CZ Optic Cut Includes
- The milling itself — a direct optic pocket cut to depth in your slide, with two full-front recoil lugs machined into the pocket.
- M4 mounting threads tapped into the slide, so the optic bolts to the slide rather than into a plate stack.
- Full teardown and reassembly — we uninstall and reinstall your slide’s internal parts and iron sights as part of the service.
- A black oxide finish on the cut area — the freshly machined surfaces are black oxided so the pocket does not sit bright against the rest of the slide.
- An optic, if you want one — add a Holosun EPS Carry or an Osight from the dropdown and we mount and torque it before the slide ships back.

Fitment: Which CZ Slides This Cut Fits
This cut is engineered for CZ 75 pattern slides that carry an internal firing pin block — the P-01, the SP-01 and CZ 75 B variants built on that design. The firing pin block matters because it dictates how much material sits under the optic pocket, and that is what makes a full-depth cut with real recoil lugs possible.

The Holosun K pattern, the Holosun EPS Carry and the Shield RMSc pattern share the same screw spacing and recoil-lug geometry, so a single pocket covers all three. That matters more than it sounds: it means the slide you cut today is not locked to the optic you happen to own today.
Optics that mount on this cut include the Holosun EPS Carry, the Holosun 407K and 507K, the Osight SE and SE 6 MOA, the Shield RMSc, and the many RMSc-pattern dots built to that footprint. If you are not sure whether a dot you already own fits, send us the model before you ship.
Sight Height and Co-Witness
We cut the depth to the perfect height, so the rear sight notch in the Holosun K / EPS co-witness lowers by 1/4 with the factory front sight. In practice that means the dot sits low in the slide rather than perched on top of it, and the factory front sight stays usable underneath the window instead of disappearing below it.
If the optic you choose requires the factory rear sight to come out, it comes back to you in the box with the slide.
How to Order This CZ Optic Cut
1. Add a red dot, or bring your own
The ADD RED DOT TO ORDER dropdown carries the optics that fit this cut — Holosun EPS Carry in 6 MOA red, 2 MOA red and 2 MOA green, and the Osight S, SE, SE Green and SE 6 MOA Red. Ordering the dot with the cut means it arrives mounted, torqued and ready. If you already own the optic, choose do not add an optic and we will mount the one you send in with the slide.
2. Pick return shipping
The RETURN SHIPPING OPTIONS dropdown is how the slide gets back to you — USPS Priority or UPS 2-Day. If you are picking up locally, or the slide is riding along with another package, choose the no-return-shipping option.
3. Add carrier insurance if you want it
Return shipping insurance is a separate dropdown, in $500 steps from $500 to $3,000. It covers the carrier leg back to you. Choose NO if you would rather not carry it.
4. Ship the slide
Place the order first, then send the slide with your order number in the box. Full instructions are in the next section.

Shipping Your Slide
What to send: your slide only — no barrel or recoil assembly.
After placing your order, include your order number, pack the slide securely, and ship it to us. We uninstall and reinstall your slide's internal parts and iron sights as part of the service. If your factory sights have to be removed for the optic cut option you chose, they'll be returned to you with the slide.

Sending in more than one slide? Return shipping and insurance are billed once per package, not per slide. Pick your return shipping and insurance on the first slide; for each additional slide in the same box, choose "NO RETURN SHIPPING / LOCAL PICKUP / ADDON SLIDE" and insurance "NO." We ship them all back together in one insured package.

Do I send the whole pistol or just the slide?
The slide only. No barrel, no recoil assembly, no frame. Because it is a slide and not a firearm, it ships to us directly — no FFL transfer involved.

What are the recoil lugs for?
They take the recoil load off the mounting screws. A pocket with two full-front lugs transfers the impulse into the slide itself, which is why a properly lugged cut holds zero where a screws-only mount works loose.
Will my factory sights still work?
The factory front sight stays and is usable under the window. If the optic you pick means the rear sight has to come out, it goes back in the box with your slide.
Can I buy the red dot here too?
