Stonebridge Gunworks accepts FFL transfers for firearms you purchase online or from another dealer. All transfers are by appointment only.
Our standard transfer fee is $80. A reduced $20 fee applies to the eligible categories listed below, and transfers are complimentary for local Lee’s Summit department personnel (LSPD, LSFD, and JACO). Review the categories below to see if you qualify.

Active-Duty Law Enforcement & Military
Active-duty law enforcement, military, and federal agents.
Active USPSA Members
Members in good standing with proof of membership.
Abundant Life Security Team
Active Abundant Life Security Team members.
Industry Partners
Employees of approved local employers.
LSPD, LSFD & JACO Sheriff
Local department personnel — thank you for supporting the Lee's Summit community.
Proof of eligibility may be required at pickup. NFA transfers (suppressors and other NFA items) are subject to the fees and guidelines on our NFA & suppressor transfers page.
Transfer Process
- Confirm that you are eligible under the transfer categories above.
- Have the transferring dealer contact Stonebridge Gunworks for a copy of our FFL.
- Wait for confirmation that your transfer has arrived and is ready for pickup.
- Schedule an appointment for pickup.
- Bring valid government-issued photo ID and any required eligibility documentation.
Sending Dealer Instructions
The transferring dealer may email us for a copy of our license. Please include the customer's name and contact information with the shipment so we can match the transfer to the correct person when it arrives.
Important Transfer Notes
- •All transfers are subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- •Valid identification is required at pickup.
- •Transfers cannot be released until all required paperwork and checks are complete.
- •Stonebridge Gunworks may refuse or return transfers that do not meet our current transfer policy.
- •Transfer fees are separate from shipping, seller fees, taxes, or other charges from the transferring dealer.
Pickup by Appointment Only
Transfer pickup is by appointment only, Monday through Friday. Please don't arrive for pickup until you've been notified that your transfer is ready.
