General TFT Installation Notes
1. Confirm Your Optic Model
Make sure the TFT Trainer matches your exact optic model. Similar-looking optics can have different front housings, lens shapes, and body dimensions.
2. Start With an Unloaded Firearm
Remove the magazine, clear the chamber, and verify the firearm is unloaded before installing or removing the trainer.
3. Align the Trainer Squarely
Place the trainer evenly over the front of the optic. Avoid starting it at an angle or catching only one side of the optic body.
4. Press Evenly Into Place
Use steady, even pressure. A snug fit is normal, but excessive force is not.
5. Check Fit and Clearance
Confirm the trainer is fully seated and does not interfere with your slide, sights, optic screws, or holster clearance.
6. Remove Carefully
Work the trainer off evenly. Avoid hard twisting, prying, or pulling from one corner only.
